OEM CMMs Nextec has entered into an OEM agreement with Mitutoyo (www.mitutoyo.com) under which the two companies cooperate in integrating Nextec's new WIZprobe (WIZprobe 7) onto Mitutoyo Coordinate Measurement Machines . The new WIZprobe is going to complement the existing touch probes for 3D scanning applications. This is the first and only WIZprobe integration that is working under the standard Mitutoyo motion controller and is fully integrated with the Mitutoyo Measurement Aplication Software. This new integrated product is the ultimate high precision 3D scanning solution offered in the market today. Mitutoyo Corporation, headquartered in Kawasaki Japan, was founded in 1934 and is today the Number One company in the metrology field. Mitutoyo is a world leader in metrology with production of Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM:s) and precision measuring instruments.
